Overview:
Our Performance Analysis Level-3 course focuses on the value and importance performance data in our game, specifically on how it can enhance and drive our decision-making process. This course will be the first of its kind in the US and is aimed at those coaches looking to understand how data can be used to enhance both individual and team performance. The course will highlight examples of how data can be used to maximize both coaching understanding and player performance.
Course Aims:
Upon completion of this course, the candidate will be better equipped to identify, document, and define where necessary:
• How data is currently being utilized in our game.
• How we identify the key areas of the game to focus our analysis on.
• Strategies for generating, managing and interpreting data in these key aspects of the game.
• How we can present data most effectively for our players and other coaching staff.
• Strategies for ensuring the validity, accuracy and reliability of the data we generate.
Cost:
The cost for the course is $250. If you are not a current United Soccer Coaches member when you register you will be charged an additional $150.
Target Candidate:
Those coaches who have successfully completed the Performance Analysis Level-1 and Performance Analysis Level-2 courses.
Course Duration:
This is a 3-day online course that will be held from 12:00-2:30 pm CST each day. Full attendance at all sessions is required to successfully complete the course.
Course Outcomes:
Assessment - There is no formal assessment.
On successful completion of this course the candidate will be awarded the United Soccer Coaches Performance Analysis Level-3 Diploma.
