Join veteran collegiate coach and coach educator Paul Marco for a look at the modern trends shaping how coaches define, develop, and evaluate their teams. This practical session will explore a connected approach to coaching—from establishing a game model and principles of play to identifying KPIs, observing performance, providing effective feedback, and developing players who can execute ideas in the constantly changing moments of the game.

About the Presenter:

Paul Marco is a veteran collegiate soccer coach with more than three decades of coaching experience. He spent 24 seasons as the head men’s soccer coach at Binghamton University, leading the Bearcats to America East championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. Previously, he served as head coach at West Virginia University, where he was named Big East Coach of the Year. Marco retired from collegiate head coaching in March 2026 after more than 30 seasons as a Division I head coach and has continued his work as a coach educator with United Soccer Coaches, where he currently serves as Director of Education Development. He is also an assistant coach with the University of New Haven women’s soccer program.
